About
I learned Zero Trust from an ant farm, not a SOC: check identity continuously, or freeze access.
In Seoul, I taught psychology to 30 teenagers with an ant farm on the windowsill. Every worker coming home tapped antennae with a scout ant—if the pheromone was off, access was locked.
Years later, while auditing IAM logs for fintech compliance, I saw admin accounts logging in at 2 AM with no ticket, no MFA prompt, and zero continuous verification. We trust once, then trust forever. Ants do not.
So I built Operation Sentinel in Python. My logic checks identity continuously:
if e.role == 'admin' and e.hour not in range(9,17): flag(e)
That simple behavioral rule cut IAM review time from 120 minutes down to 30 minutes, mapping directly to DORA Art 10 and NIS2 Art 21 compliance controls.

xBig personal milestone — I've officially joined the Security Industry Association's Women In Security Forum (WISF) community!
I joined because I believe strongly in promoting and cultivating women's leadership in security. We make better decisions and build stronger teams when more voices are at the table.
For me, it's about more than membership — it's about helping build a more inclusive and diverse industry, and learning from the incredible women and allies who are leading that change.
Grateful to @Security Industry Association and @SIA Women in Security Forum for creating this space that promotes leadership, mentorship, and professional growth.
Is anyone else here part of WISF? I'd love to connect and learn from you. Excited for what's next!

Operation Sentinel update — now parsing external identity surfaces
I built hunter.py to flag off-hours admin logins:
if e.role == 'admin' and e.hour not in range(9,17): flag(e)
— cut IAM review 120m → 30m.
New: extended it to parse LinkedIn security exports (Logins.csv) for unauthorized access detection. Same behavioral logic, now mapped to DORA Art 10 & NIS2 Art 21.
Code: github.com/ssambra/operation-sentinel
File: linkedin_hunter.py -> https://github.com/ssambra/Cyber-Sentinel-Portfolio/blob/main/hunter.py

Operation Sentinel update — now parsing external identity surfaces
hunter.py: off-hours admin detection
if e.role == 'admin' and e.hour not in range(9,17): flag(e) — 120m → 30m
NEW: linkedin_hunter.py parses LinkedIn Logins.csv (Login.csv export) for impossible travel / off-hours / untrusted city flags. Same scout logic.
Mapped to DORA Art 10 + NIS2 Art 21. Proof-first, 1-page evidence map.
