Volunteering at cybersecurity community events is always a joy - and BSides Birmingham was no exception. My daughter had a fab time helping out on the charity sticker stall, which raised over £500 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital 💖 And she adored the local wildlife that was parading around outside the venue 🪿
If you’ve not been to a BSides event I would heartily recommend doing so - they’re a great way to meet new people, learn new things, and find inspiration - plus they are much cheaper to attend than many of the big conferences. I’ll pop a link in the comments to the global calendar.
Next stop for us is BSides Leeds, LMK if you’ll be there!
