I've been thinking of going live,
Have you tried the new live feature yet ?
Still struggling to break into cybersecurity? Keep reading.
You don't need another paid certification.
You don't need another paid course.
You don't need another paid bootcamp.
You don't need another unpaid "entry-level" internship.
Trust me, none of it moves the needle on its own.
What you need is proof.
Proof that you understand what recruiters are looking for.
Proof that you have the hands-on skills to help organizations secure critical infrastructure.
Proof that you can work well in a team.
Proof that you understand how the moving parts of an infrastructure work together, not just individual components.
So how do you get that proof? It's simpler than you think.
Build a home lab. Work on real cybersecurity projects. Document everything.
Publish your write-ups on GitHub, a blog, or LinkedIn, so recruiters can see exactly what you can do.
Proof beats promises every time.
I recently sent this message to our current CompTIA Security+ cohort, but I wanted to share it here because it applies to so many people starting out.
Building a career in cybersecurity isn’t a sprint, it’s brick-by-brick construction.
If you’re a beginner feeling tired, overwhelmed, or lost right now, please know that every late night, every broken lab, and every confusing concept you wrestle with is silently forging your most critical asset: resilience.
Your effort will pay off soon. If you're feeling stuck, keep these three things in mind:
1) Keep building: Trust the process. Consistency always wins over intensity.
2) Find a mentor: Don't walk the path alone, learn from those who have navigated the terrain before you.
3) Ask lots of questions: The best professionals in this industry never stop asking "why" and "how."
The grind is real, but so are the results. Keep putting in the work!
Which one will you choose?🤔
Scenerio: You received a voucher after passing the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification, but you can only get one of these gifts for free, which one will you choose and why?
I'll be in the comments🤣
PS: Please don't choose the white zippered hoodie cuz I already got that after passing the Google Associate Cloud Engineer Certification.
Yes! AI CERTs responded to my email and we're getting somewhere.
"Share on Cyberr" will happen in my time.
