There is a new discovery of a FAKE ANTHROPIC CLAUDE SITE that quietly install a brand new backdoor.

Once on the site, visitors are offered a download for something called "Claude-Pro Relay", a roughly 505MB zip file. In actual fact, there's no real product, just the installer.

This is how the attack actually works: When the installer runs, it drops three files into the user's Windows startup folder so the malware launches automatically on every reboot. One of those files is a legitimate executable that the attackers haven't touched at all, because the whole technique relies on that genuine file doing the work for them.

Attackers are leveraging on the advent of AI to perpetrate their evil enterprises knowing that organizations are currently relying on artificial intelligence and they are investing heavily on it.

AI SECURITY IS VERY KEY

Please beware.
