About
Bringing AppSec to the next level!
There is much more to AppSec than just code scans and pen-tests. Purchasing tools and expecting an immediate improvement is a recipe for disappointment. Building an AppSec program is a lot like building a house; you need to start at the beginning and advance when you have completed that step. For example, pouring the foundation must be done before running electrical.
Similar to how each home is unique, each organization, application, and pipeline is also unique. Integrating security into the SDLC takes a custom, hands on approach.
I have flown solo and with teams to do just this, both pouring the all important foundational layer in which other pieces are built upon as well as taking the AppSec program to the next level.
