I am an Information Security and GRC professional with a PhD in Information Security and experience spanning governance, risk management, compliance, IT audit, cybersecurity consulting, research, and higher education. I am passionate about helping organizations strengthen security, manage risk, and support compliance objectives through practical, business-focused solutions while adapting to evolving technologies.My expertise includes information security governance, risk assessment, compliance, privacy, IT audit, security policies, and cybersecurity research. I have experience working with frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, and HIPAA, with a strong focus on translating governance and risk requirements into practical, implementable security outcomes. My background includes security audits, risk assessments, compliance reviews, policy development, governance initiatives, cybersecurity awareness, and information security research.My PhD research focused on information accountability in healthcare systems, where I developed automated auditing approaches to support governance, risk, and compliance through process analytics and compliance monitoring.
