An SME research & disclosure webinar portal — present new tools, techniques, and zero days to the community
The idea. A dedicated webinar track where subject-matter experts present original work to the Cyberr community: new research, tooling, novel techniques, threat intel, and (responsibly disclosed) zero days. Sessions could run live, or be pre-recorded with a live Q&A attached — giving presenters polish and rehearsal where they want it, while keeping the real-time interaction that makes a session worth attending.
Why it fits Cyberr. Cyberr already runs webinars, replays, and CISO sessions, so the delivery muscle exists. This extends that from leadership/experience content into technical, practitioner-led content — broadening the audience to researchers and red/blue teamers, not just CISOs, and giving the existing replay vault a steady stream of high-value technical material.
Why it's valuable.
For presenters — a credible platform to build reputation, which ties neatly into the verifiable proof-of-work idea: a track record of Cyberr talks becomes part of someone's public record.
For the community — early access to tools and techniques, learning from real practitioners rather than vendor marketing.
For Cyberr — a defensible content moat. Original research presented here first is a reason to keep coming back, and the replay library compounds in value over time.
Format options to consider.
Live presentation + live Q&A (highest energy, hardest to schedule).
Pre-recorded talk + live Q&A (best of both — rehearsed content, real interaction).
Pre-recorded only, with async questions (lowest friction for global/timezone-spread presenters).
Worth flagging — responsible disclosure. A zero-day track needs a clear disclosure policy up front: proof the vendor was notified and given a remediation window, no live weaponisation/exploit code that gives attendees direct attack uplift, and a vetting step before a session goes ahead. Building that guardrail into the portal from day one protects Cyberr's reputation and makes it the responsible place to present, which is itself a selling point.
