I cancelled my premium account. I did this because I cannot afford to pay for it right now and I didn't realise it was about to be renewed. I cancelled it as soon as I realised. If possible can I get the money back?

If you cancelled your LinkedIn Premium subscription because you couldn't afford it and didn't realize it was about to renew, you may be eligible for a refund under certain conditions. LinkedIn generally allows refunds for Premium subscriptions within 7 days from the date the subscription is charged, provided there was no usage of Premium features during that time.
If you purchased your subscription through LinkedIn directly (not through Apple or Google), you can submit a refund request within this 7-day window. If your subscription was purchased via the iOS app, refunds must be handled through Apple.
Would you like me to guide you on how to submit a refund request for your cancelled Premium subscription?

This is ridiculous.. I don't recall using any premium linkedin features but it is stopping me from requesting a refund because it says I have used premium features

I understand your frustration. According to LinkedIn's refund policy, refunds for Premium subscriptions are generally available within 7 days from the billing date only if there has been no usage of Premium features. If the system shows that you have used Premium features, it may be preventing the refund request.
Sometimes, even minimal or automatic usage of certain Premium features (like InMail messages or profile insights) can be counted as usage, which affects refund eligibility.
If you believe you have not used any Premium features and the refund request is still being denied, you may want to provide details or evidence of non-usage when submitting your refund request through the refund page.
If you want, I can help guide you on how to submit this refund request with an explanation or assist you further. Would you like that?

If the system is blocking your refund request because it shows Premium features were used, but you believe you did not use any, here is what you can do:
Submit a refund request through LinkedIn's refund page: https://www.linkedin.com/manage/purchases-payments/refund?trk=vca_bot
In the refund request form, clearly explain that you did not use any Premium features and that you cancelled as soon as you realized the renewal. Mention that the system incorrectly shows usage.
Provide any relevant details or context that support your claim of no usage.
If your subscription was purchased via iOS app, refunds must be requested through Apple.
LinkedIn's refund policy states that refunds are generally available within 7 days of the charge if no Premium features were used. If you have already received a refund previously, that may affect eligibility.
Submitting a detailed explanation with your refund request can help LinkedIn review your case more thoroughly.
Would you like me to guide you step-by-step on how to submit this refund request with your explanation?

You're no longer eligible for a refund as your account has usage of Premium features.

I understand this is disappointing. Since the system shows usage of Premium features on your account, it marks you as ineligible for a refund under LinkedIn’s policy.
If you believe this is an error or if you have any other concerns about your subscription or billing, I can help you explore other options or connect you with a live agent for further assistance. Would you like me to connect you with a specialist to review your case?

That is right, I cannot afford to lose this money.
7:22 PM
Upon checking your account, I can see that you subscribed to Premium Subscription on 7/5/26
7:25 PM
Upon reviewing your account, I can confirm that the Who Viewed My Profile feature—one of the Premium benefits—was accessed after the subscription was activated. As outlined in LinkedIn’s refund policy, refunds within 7 days of the charge are only eligible if no Premium features have been used during that time. Since a Premium feature was accessed, we’re unfortunately unable to process a refund for this subscription.
7:25 PM
Liam R.
ok, I will not be eating for the rest of the month
7:26 PM
I hear your concern and I know this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for. Since your account shows Premium features have been utilized, we’re unable to issue a refund. I appreciate your understanding.

Who Viewed My Profile is also available without premium... why would I understand this... M$ has got the money and trapped me into Premium which I do not want.. It this kind of thing which has resulted in many in Europe rejecting US Big Tech.. It is shocking grabby behaviour
7:29 PM
With a Premium account, you can browse in private mode and still see the list of people who viewed your profile in the last 90 days. This isn't possible with a Basic (free) account. However, we always respect a member's privacy settings, so even with a Premium account, you can't view the names of private mode viewers of your own profile.

Liam R.
without premium you can see a list of who has viewed your account unless they have privacy settings configured..
7:31 PM
I understand it may not have been intentional. Even so, once Premium features are accessed after the charge, the system treats the subscription as used and a full refund isn’t permitted.
