Work in Cyber is hard - there are many ways to end up a stressed wreck by the end of the week and to only see where you have more to do / didn’t get a chance to….

Taking a moment to think about what you are proud of over the last week is a great idea…. Gonna try to do this each week!

So

Drove 4.5 hours the wrong way on Sunday because “someone” could no longer drive due to an ankle injury, so i got her and her amazing daughter home and then had to catch the red eye on Monday to get back home for my son’s birthday gifts arriving / full day of work and then kids / birthday celebrations for boy.

Did some great education pieces at work over the week covering risks / AI / future plans - all part of a cohesive plan to be implemented but the education part is the bit I’m proud of right now.

Being present when needed for my kids / should be there - Saturday was chaos , work intrusion / life mess but still wrangled the time correctly to be where I needed to be to help and support the kids.

Samantha S.: Love this! Wins can easily be forgotten in a hectic week. And it’s easy to lose yourself in the busy stuff too - there’s always more work to be done in this industry! But we’re better off as employees, as partners, as parents, and as overall humans when we remember to take care of ourselves.
