You can secure your company perfectly—and still be compromised through someone you trusted.

That's the uncomfortable reality of modern supply-chain attacks.

Your organization may have:

MFA.

EDR.

Firewalls.

SIEM.

Strong passwords.

Security policies.

But what happens when a trusted vendor, SaaS provider, dependency or service becomes the attacker's entry point?

Microsoft recently detailed an AI-driven campaign involving a ConnectWise supply-chain compromise, showing how attackers can abuse trusted relationships and application credentials to reach downstream environments.

This is why cybersecurity is no longer just about protecting your network.

It's about understanding your digital ecosystem.

Ask:

→ Who has access to our environment?

→ Which vendors can authenticate into our systems?

→ Which applications process our data?

→ What happens if one of our dependencies is compromised?

→ Can third-party access be isolated?

→ Can we detect abnormal vendor behavior?

Trust is necessary for business.

But in cybersecurity:

Trust without verification becomes an attack surface.

The weakest link may not be inside your organization.

It may be somewhere in the ecosystem you've connected to.
