Hi everyone!
I'm new to the platform, and I wanted to introduce myself to the community. I'm Haydn, and I'm currently transitioning into cybersecurity after a career in the food industry.
I'm focused on the blue team side of things, specifically aiming for a Tier 1 SOC Analyst position with the long-term goal of moving into cloud security. Right now, I'm volunteering as Lead Mod/Admin for the Cyber Careers community on Skool and as a Lead Community Operator at The Cyber Ledger, and I currently hold my Security+ and ISC2 CC certifications.
Most of my hands-on experience comes from building out my own home labs, working with tools like Splunk, Wireshark, OpenVAS, and more, and diving into DFIR, threat intelligence, and malware analysis.
I'm actively looking for entry-level InfoSec Analyst/SOC opportunities where I can put these skills to work for a defensive security team. If you have any leads, advice, or just want to connect and talk blue team tactics, please feel free to reach out!
