I built something I actually needed.

LogRaptorX v1.0.0 is a high performance log parsing and analysis tool designed for real world security workflows.

What started as a simple parser turned into a full desktop application with a clean, professional interface and a fast multi threaded engine.

It is built to handle real data, not small test files.

What it does

Parses large log files at high speed, tested at over 63k lines per second

Supports EVTX with proper structured output instead of unreadable binary data

Detects security relevant activity such as mimikatz, credential access, and PowerShell abuse

Handles INFO, WARN, ERROR, CRITICAL with clean filtering

Provides detection summaries, severity breakdowns, and real time stats

Exports to Excel friendly CSV

Under the hood

Multi threaded parsing engine processing chunks in parallel

Auto format detection

Pre compiled pattern library for performance

Built with Python and PyQt6

Packaged as a standalone Windows executable

UI and performance

Clean minimal interface designed for actual usage

No visual clutter or unnecessary noise

Paginated rendering so large datasets do not freeze the UI

Real time filtering and detection scanning

Structured detail panel for deep inspection of each log entry

One key issue I solved was UI freezing when loading large datasets.

Instead of rendering everything at once, the table now uses pagination and batched updates.

Even very large datasets remain responsive.

Repository will be published soon.

Short demo video attached showing it parsing real EVTX logs and generating detections.

If you work with logs or Windows event data, this will save you time. Feedback is welcome.
