Phenomlab is now Gratmore.
The name has changed. The experience, accountability and principles behind the business have not.
I established Phenomlab as a vehicle for providing senior technology and cyber security leadership outside the traditional permanent executive model.
Over time, the work has evolved.
The conversations I now have with boards, CEOs and leadership teams increasingly extend beyond a fractional CIO or CISO requirement.
They are about technology strategy, cyber risk, operational resilience, governance, assurance, difficult decisions and developing executive capability.
The business needed to reflect that.
Gratmore is built around four ways I can help:
- Lead. Fractional and interim executive leadership where accountability is required.
- Advise. Independent executive judgement and challenge for boards, CEOs and technology or security leaders.
- Assess. Defined reviews, due diligence and assurance where an organisation needs an independent answer.
- Develop. Executive mentoring and transition support for CIOs, CISOs and leadership teams.
It is still me behind it.
- More than 30 years in technology.
- More than 20 years in executive leadership.
- Eight years carrying concurrent CIO and CISO accountability.
- Experience spanning technology, cyber security, governance, transformation, operational resilience and regulated environments.
But Gratmore represents that experience much more accurately than Phenomlab did.
