Modern attackers no longer attack systems first.

They attack trust.

A compromised identity.

A delegated token.

A forgotten integration.

An overprivileged AI workflow.

A stale runtime assumption.

That is increasingly enough.

The dangerous part is:

many organizations still defend infrastructure as if attacks begin only with malware or exploits.

But modern offensive operations increasingly move through:

trust propagation,

identity inheritance,

workflow abuse,

runtime drift,

and topology collapse.

The attack surface is no longer static.

It is behavioral.

This is one of the biggest realizations driving the evolution of RedNode.

Not toward “more scanning”.

But toward:

runtime telemetry,

trust intelligence,

evidence lineage,

attack-chain cognition,

and governance-aware offensive security.

Because modern compromise is becoming:

runtime manipulation of trust itself.

Modern attackers no longer attack systems first. They attack trust. A compromised identity. A delegated…
