Your API is not secure.
Even if every request returns:
→ 200 OK
→ valid data
→ expected response
That doesn’t mean it’s safe.
It means it’s consistent.
And consistency is exactly what attackers exploit.
Most teams test systems like this:
→ single request
→ single endpoint
→ isolated validation
And everything looks fine.
But attackers don’t think in requests.
They think in sequences.
Here’s what that looks like in reality:
A user endpoint behaves correctly.
A profile endpoint behaves correctly.
A relationship between them?
Untested.
Now scale that behavior:
→ IDs increment predictably
→ objects reference each other
→ access checks apply only partially
→ logic is reused across endpoints
Nothing is “broken”.
But everything is exploitable.
This is how real breaches happen:
Not through a critical vulnerability.
But through:
✅ predictable system behavior
✅ implicit trust assumptions
✅ cross-endpoint logic flaws
✅ chained interactions
In one recent analysis:
Everything returned 200.
Everything looked normal.
Until:
→ user enumeration emerged
→ data relationships became mappable
→ access boundaries blurred
→ full data extraction became trivial
No exploit.
No zero-day.
Just… behavior.
Most security tooling will never show you this.
Because it doesn’t test:
❌ how your system behaves over time
❌ how endpoints interact with each other
❌ how trust propagates across architecture
It tests endpoints.
We model systems.
If your product:
→ exposes APIs
→ handles user data
→ scales across microservices
You’re not dealing with “vulnerabilities”.
You’re dealing with attack surfaces that evolve over time.
And if no one is analyzing that behavior?
You’re already blind.
I’m currently working with teams on:
→ uncovering hidden attack paths
→ breaking unsafe system assumptions
→ modeling real attacker behavior
→ hardening systems — not just endpoints
If this made you even slightly uncomfortable:
Good.
That’s where real security starts.
Let’s talk.
