I’m excited to announce the launch of my latest cybersecurity portfolio project:
Vulnerability Risk Dashboard
Security teams often receive hundreds or even thousands of vulnerability findings, but the real challenge is not simply identifying vulnerabilities.
The real challenge is knowing:
Which vulnerabilities should be fixed first?
Which assets are exposed to the internet?
Which findings already have known exploits?
Which remediation deadlines have been missed?
Which teams and departments carry the highest risk?
To address this, I built an interactive Vulnerability Risk Dashboard using Python and Streamlit.
The dashboard transforms vulnerability scan data into actionable security intelligence by combining CVSS severity with contextual risk factors such as:
Known exploit availability
Internet exposure
Patch availability
Vulnerability age
Remediation status
SLA breach status
The project includes:
✅ Weighted vulnerability risk scoring
✅ Critical, High, Medium and Low risk classification
✅ P1–P4 remediation prioritisation
✅ SLA assignment and breach detection
✅ Department risk analysis
✅ Vulnerability-owner workload reporting
✅ Executive security recommendations
✅ Vulnerability ageing analysis
✅ Interactive filters and visualisations
✅ Downloadable vulnerability reports
✅ Automated testing with Pytest
✅ GitHub Actions continuous integration
✅ Live Streamlit deployment
This project demonstrates my practical understanding of vulnerability management, security risk analysis, remediation prioritisation, security reporting and defensive automation.
I designed it not just to display scanner results, but to help security teams make better remediation decisions.
