Project: Network Monitoring with PRTG and Simulating a DOS attack
In this project I showcase Paessler PRTG which is a network monitoring solution that is commonly used today.
I use PRTG on my Window Servers that is running in OracleBox.
I configure multiple sensors, and configure a client to be monitored by PRTG and along with configuring SNMP on both the Windows Server and Client.
In addition, I discuss important metrics to pay attention to and the best times to record a baseline of your network.
Not only that, I also simulate a DOS attack using a tool called Hping3 through Kali Linux, and understanding the behavior of a ICMP Flooding attack against my windows server using PRTG.
