Account Executive - US (First on the Ground)
Cyberr | Remote, US | Cybersecurity SaaS + Recruitment
We're a Luxembourg-based cybersecurity hiring and professional networking platform. Two revenue lines: a SaaS product (€4.5K/year) and a recruitment service (8-10% placement fee). We're profitable, growing fast in Europe, and now we're crossing the Atlantic.
You'd be our first AE in the US. Not the tenth. The first.
That means you're not inheriting a playbook. You're writing one - with me, with our founder Laurent, with a team that actually picks up the phone when you call.
What you'll actually do
Sell to CISOs, Heads of Talent, and Heads of Security at US companies who need to hire cyber talent and are tired of LinkedIn noise and recruiter spam.
Run the full cycle - outbound, demo, negotiation, close.
Help us figure out which segments and verticals work in the US (financial services? defense? tech? we have hypotheses, not answers).
Feed product and marketing what you're hearing.
Build the US motion that the next five hires will run on.
Who you are
Five-plus years closing in cybersecurity. You know the difference between a SOC analyst and a security engineer, and you know why CISOs don't return calls.
You've sold into security teams before - vendor, recruitment, platform, doesn't matter, but you've been in those rooms.
You're a builder, not a maintainer. You don't need a 47-step Salesforce process to know what to do on Monday morning.
You can write a cold email that doesn't sound like a cold email.
You've carried quotas of $1M+ and hit them.
You're fine with ambiguity. You're not fine with mediocrity.
What we offer
Competitive base + uncapped commission.
A founding-team seat in the US market.
Direct line to me and to Laurent. No layers
You'll get a product people genuinely want.
You'll get pushed and you'll get backed.
Who you're not
You're not someone who needs a manager to tell you what good looks like.
You're not someone who's spent the last three years at one big-logo SaaS company doing the same motion on autopilot.
You're not someone who confuses activity with progress.
How to apply
Here's your first test.
Don't send a resume. Do everything else
Go to Cyberr. Create your profile. Find me. Reach out through the platform and tell me why you want to sell this thing - and what you'd do in your first 30 days.
If you can't navigate Cyberr well enough to apply, you can't sell it. Simple as that.
The candidates who get this right go to the top of the pile. The ones who tell me something interesting about the platform itself - what worked, what didn't, what they'd change - go straight to a call with me and Laurent.
We move fast. If you're right, you'll know within two weeks.
