Information Security Consultant — Swoon
Contract (freelance) — 100% Remote (EST hours, 8:30am–5:00pm) — based in Toronto, ON, Canada
Duration: June 29 – Dec 12 (possibility of extension / FTE) — Compensation: T4 $60–65/hr | Inc. $70–75/hr
We are looking for an Information Security Consultant who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment for a 100% remote, 6-month contract (with potential for extension or FTE). In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to various business units, balancing project deliverables with high-volume ticket work.
Requirements: 4–7 years of dedicated Information Security experience; deep understanding of frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002 and PCI DSS; industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, ISACA, SANS); a background in financial services or regulated environments is a strong plus. A strong mix of technical security expertise and business analysis skills is ideal.
