Cookie Policy

    Last updated: June 19, 2026

    Cyberr SA, a Luxembourg public limited company (société anonyme) ("Cyberr", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on its website (cyberr.ai and its subdomains) and on its mobile applications (together, the "Platform"). This Cookie Policy explains what these technologies are, what they do and how you can manage them.

    This Cookie Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our User Agreement and our Privacy Policy.

    1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

    Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember your preferences and provide essential functionality such as keeping you logged in.

    In addition to cookies, the Platform uses other client-side storage and tracking technologies that work in a similar way, including:

    • Local storage and session storage in your browser, used to retain UI preferences (e.g. theme, locale, sidebar state) and to cache search results between page navigations;
    • Pixels and tracking tags embedded in our pages or marketing emails (e.g. LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads conversion tags, HubSpot tracking pixel);
    • Mobile SDKs embedded in our mobile applications, which collect device identifiers and event data on a similar basis to web cookies.

    In this Policy, the term "cookie" is used as shorthand for all of these technologies, unless we say otherwise.

    2. Legal basis for our use of cookies

    We use cookies in accordance with Directive 2002/58/EC (the "ePrivacy Directive") as transposed into Luxembourg law, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR"):

    • Strictly necessary cookies are deployed without your consent because they are required to deliver a service you have requested (e.g. logging into the Platform). The legal basis is the performance of our User Agreement with you and our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
    • All other cookies (functional, analytics, advertising and marketing) are deployed only with your consent, which you may freely give, withhold or withdraw at any time using the controls described in section 5 below.

    3. Categories of cookies we use

    3.1 Strictly necessary

    These cookies are essential to the operation of the Platform and cannot be switched off in our systems. Without them, you would not be able to log in, complete a payment or move safely around the Platform.

    • Authentication session (first-party, ~1 hour rolling, refreshable for up to 30 days) — keeps you signed in to your Cyberr account. Set by our authentication provider (Supabase).
    • CSRF / security tokens (first-party, session) — protect against cross-site request forgery and other security attacks.
    • Bot protection (third-party, set by Cloudflare Turnstile, ~30 minutes) — confirms that traffic on sensitive endpoints (sign-up, partnership inquiries) comes from a real browser.
    • Payment processing (third-party, set by Stripe, session) — required for secure checkout when you purchase Cyberr Premium or a Business subscription.

    3.2 Functional / preferences

    These technologies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation. They are stored as first-party cookies or in your browser's local storage and are not shared with any third party.

    • Theme preference (light / dark);
    • Language and locale selection;
    • Sidebar collapsed/expanded state and other UI layout preferences;
    • Recently viewed jobs and search caches, kept locally to speed up navigation.

    3.3 Analytics

    We use analytics cookies to understand how Members and Visitors use the Platform, so that we can measure and improve performance.

    • Google Analytics 4 (third-party, up to 26 months) — aggregated traffic and feature usage. We enable IP truncation, and analytics data is automatically anonymised after 26 months.

    3.4 Advertising and marketing

    We use a small number of advertising and marketing cookies to measure the effectiveness of our recruitment and growth campaigns and to deliver relevant content.

    • Google Ads (third-party, up to 90 days) — conversion tracking for Cyberr campaigns.
    • LinkedIn Insight Tag (third-party, up to 6 months) — measures the performance of recruiter campaigns and supports retargeting.
    • HubSpot (third-party, up to 13 months) — CRM and email marketing, including measurement of opens and clicks in our marketing emails.

    4. Third-party providers

    The third parties named above set their own cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend that you review them to understand how they process your data:

    5. How to manage your preferences

    You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the controls below. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to the Platform and using core features.

    5.1 Browser controls

    All major browsers allow you to view, manage, delete and block cookies. The exact procedure depends on the browser you use:

    5.2 Industry opt-outs

    6. Mobile applications

    Our mobile applications use SDKs that collect device identifiers (such as the IDFA on iOS or the Android Advertising ID) on a basis equivalent to web cookies. You can manage these identifiers using your device's operating system controls:

    • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
    • Android: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID.

    7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

    No common industry standard currently exists for responding to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by applicable law and treat them as a withdrawal of consent for non-essential cookies.

    8. Changes to this Cookie Policy

    Cyberr may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use, applicable law or our business practices. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Platform or by other appropriate means before the changes become effective. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acknowledgement of the updated Cookie Policy.
